Precision isn’t only about numbers — it’s about understanding the surgical reality and building a solution that fits both the anatomy and the workflow.
That was the spirit behind our collaboration with Dr. Siegel on this lateral closing wedge to realign the femur and secure it with a nail.
Following a detailed preoperative planning and constructive exchanges, we delivered a fully tailored setup, including:
🔹 A designed cutting guide, secured with 3.0 mm K-wires
🔹 A reduction guide to support bone fragment realignment and allow a stable nail insertion.
🔹 Engraved drilling and cutting depths to help control every step in the OR
“Can we add small anterior and posterior flanges for reduction?” — These refinements, though minimal, reflect the kind of dialogue that makes a difference between standard and surgical-fit.
Result: A controlled resection, a smooth surgical flow, and a correction that matched the plan — step by step.
Many thanks to Dr. Herrick Siegel, MD. and his team for their precision, openness, and trust throughout this case!
