Enhancing Complex Osteotomies with Custom Cutting Guides
Corrective osteotomy surgeries, often required for misaligned bones, can be challenging due to complex geometries and limited visibility. Patient-specific cutting guides, custom-made and based on pre-operative planning, enable precise and efficient bone corrections during surgery. These guides ensure accurate alignment and positioning, making both opening and closing wedge osteotomies, as well as synostosis, possible with greater ease.
How does it work?

Medical Images are uploaded securely on our dedicated web-platform and are automatically analyzed using AI technology.
Validate the planning and the guide
A web-based 3D viewer combines a 3D visualization and interaction with an engineer to execute and validate the proposed planning and design the cutting guide.
Perform the surgery
An anatomical model is provided with the cutting guide to help locate the area of interest and properly position the patient-specific guide onto the bone.
The cutting guide is positioned and secured onto the bone using K-wires.
The saw blade is then guided along the cutting guide to efficiently perform the cut.
