Laurent Paul

Laurent Paul holds a PhD in biomedical sciences from UCLouvain. During his thesis, he developed computerized tools to assist surgeons during bone tumor resection. In 2013 Laurent founded Visyos, a spin-off company, dedicating its focus to the launch of guides for bone tumors on the EU market.

At 3D-Side Laurent is the expert in medical software, IT/image processing for both patient-specific field and AI-based segmentation and is responsible for the supervision of all the 3D-Side Platform (Customize). Laurent also holds an MBA from the Louvain School of Management, he is also the author and co-author of multiple publications.

Khanh Tran Duy

Khanh TRAN DUY is a mechanical engineer and holds a PhD in applied Sciences.
During his PhD in maxillo-facial surgery, Khanh launched multiple projects at university, including raising funding for multi-million euros and was involved in other start-up projects such as Corquest – acquired by Ceyliad. In 2011 he founded his very own company, Centis engineering.  

At 3D-Side Khanh is responsible for the neurosurgical device side of activities, he is in charge of Business Development, as well as supervising quality. Khanh also holds a MSc in Business Administration he is also the author and co-author of multiple patents.

Davide Bianchi

With over 30 years of international experience in the medical devices sector and a background encompassing sales, marketing, and corporate leadership, Davide brings invaluable expertise to 3D-Side. As a business angel and strategic advisor to several venture capital and private equity firms, Davide has amassed significant experience in mergers and acquisitions.

 
In his own words, Davide states:

Jean-Marie Berger

Jean-Marie Berger is an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the orthopedics segment of the medical device industry. He managed two companies to successful exits (Shoulder in Motion Inc, Integrated Shoulder Collaboration Inc). Prior becoming an entrepreneur , he held various marketing and commercial executive positions in Tornier/Wright Medical Group including VP of Product Delivery - Upper Extremity and General Manager of Tornier Canada
Jean-Marie has a degree in Marketing and International Business from the Grenoble Ecole of Management and has completed his executive MBA at the University of Minnesota in 2011.

Nicolas

Roberti de Winghe

Nicolas holds a master’s degree in business science (LSM-UCL, Belgium).

He started his career in finance at UBS Belgium where he held the roles of project manager and sales manager of the bank.

He co-founded The Club Deal (now TCD Capital) in 2016 where he leads the Life Science team.

Van der Schueren

Mr. Guido Van der Schueren is majority shareholder and Chairman of the Board of, amongst others, HYBRID Software, Global Graphics (Euronext: GLOG:BB) and Brand Quadergy. HYBRID Software is active in the development of prepress editing, and production & collaboration for the graphics arts industry, more specifically labels and packaging. Global Graphics is active as supplier of printhead driver electronics for industrial inkjet presses and software platforms for digital printing. Brand Quadergy is a European midsized design & prepress service agency.
Until 2007 Guido Van der Schueren was Managing Director of Artwork Systems, which he co-founded. Until mid-2011 he was Chief Commercial Officer and later Vice Chairman of the Board of Esko Artwork.

Laurent Jouret

Prior to joining Inventures in 2017, Laurent Jouret was a Senior Investment Manager at Sofina, a listed financial holding company based in Belgium, with more than €5 billion under management. He was a member of the internal Committees supervising direct investment opportunities and was regularly involved in the sourcing, analysis and negotiation of these investments.

​Laurent holds a Business Engineering Master’s degree from the Louvain School of Management and is a Certified European Financial Analyst (BVFA-ABAF). In 2013, he completed the Private Equity and Venture Capital program at Harvard Business School and, in 2011, the Emerging Leader Program at London Business School.

Charles Nolet

Charles Nolet currently works at Lumine Capital Advisors as an Investment Manager.

Prior to that, he served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan.

As a board observer at 3D-Side, representing one of its investors, he brings business and strategic expertise across various industries, including Medtech. Charles believes in 3D-Side's innovative approach to patient-specific planning through real-time 2D to 3D conversion, positioning the platform as a game-changer in surgery planning
