1st PAO in the USA

1st PAO in the USA, a challenge won by 3D-Side during the surgery brilliantly performed by Dr. Pablo Castañeda.

This young patient suffered from hip dysplasia. The associated surgery is complex, requiring corrections in 3 planes.

Thanks to the 3D-Cut guides created by 3D-Side, the surgical gesture was simplified and the precision increased.

The surgeon was able to validate the final position of the acetabulum preoperatively, using the Customize software. This validated position is ensured intraoperatively thanks to an aligner that allows to verify the correct position of the corrected acetabulum.
