Cranioplasties, surgeons are faced with a veritable complex bone puzzle

In some cranioplasties, surgeons are faced with a veritable complex bone puzzle. Numerous fragments need to be identified, cleaned and prepared before implant placement.

This is where our 3D-Skull solution with its personalized pre-planning comes into its own.

Thanks to precise modeling, the surgeon can visualize in advance each fragment to be removed or cleaned. They know exactly where to intervene, how to prepare the site and optimize their procedure.

The PMMA implant we offer is perfectly suited to this approach. Unlike some titanium solutions, which cannot be adapted in the OR, PMMA implants can be adapted in shape and tolerance during the surgery to allow the surgeon more flexibility.

The result: smoother surgery, time-saving in the OR and better-controlled reconstruction, even in the most fragmented cases.
