3D-Skull

Patient-specific cranial implant system offering a perfect fit, quick reconstruction, and long-lasting results.

Ensure better medical performance with 3D-Skull's proven track record.

What is 3D-Skull?

3D-Skull is a custom-made cranioplasty implant mold based on the patient's CT scan to create a PMMA cranial implant in the operating room.

Ready for placement within minutes, it offers accuracy and adaptability to the per-operative situation.

Why use 3D-SKULL?

Perfect fit

The implant's accuracy is extremely high thanks to the latest design and manufacturing technologies. Additionally, the PMMA material is well-known and can be adapted if the surgical conditions differ from the CT scan (fibrosis, open sinus, movement artifacts, etc.). 3D-Skull ensures a perfect fit in any scenario.

Medical performance

The implant material (PMMA, bone cement) is durable and provides excellent mechanical protection to the brain. Additionally, when required, the integrated gentamicin (antibiotic) enhances the long-term outcomes of this technology.

Cost-effectiveness

The engineering process (image processing, design, validation, etc.) is as complex as that of other custom-made implants, while our optimized manufacturing processes and workflow allow us to reduce costs, delivering a high-quality implant at an affordable price.

Guided Resection and Reconstruction in One Surgery

When a resection is needed, planning is performed to determine the resection area on a CT scan or an MRI.

The resection is planned in 3D and both a surgical guide and a custom-made implant are designed with a matching shape. Intraoperatively, the guide and the patient-specific cranial implant are used to obtain, in just one surgical intervention, an accurate resection and reconstruction.
